Among the 65,000 Swifties gathered at Madrid’s Estadio Santiago Bernabéu was none other than Swift’s Super Bowl-winning boyfriend Travis Kelce, who cheered from the VIP section with the giddy enthusiasm of a man who only recently discovered that standing next to a pyrotechnics stage during “Bad Blood” is a full-body cardio workout.
Kelce, tight end for the Kansas City Chiefs and now unofficial Eras Tour hype man, was spotted grooving alongside Swift’s close-knit circle, which included her constant companions Gigi Hadid and Bradley Cooper. Levitating somewhere between fashion show and friendship bracelet convention, the night passed in a haze of sequins, key changes and the occasional 6’5” football player mouthing all the words to “Lover.”
Swift’s tour, already a cultural juggernaut and part-time global economy, kicked off its European leg with all the glittery gusto fans have come to expect, complete with multiple costume changes, a few Easter eggs, and stadium staff still discovering confetti in their shoes days later.
